The Speaker: Mr. Jaiganesh Pillai Arumugam (Jay) was a Training Consultant & Lecturer for Hospitality & Tourism Mgmt. with IHM College, KL, having completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from University of Derby, United Kingdom and a Higher Diploma from HTMi, Switzerland. He also possessed an Executive Diploma in Human Resources Management as value added. Jay carries with him an array of experience which ranges from the Hotel for 7 years, diverse to Education Industry for the past 15 years. His expertise varies in Hospitality started with his industrial training hence, faced customers from multi-countries, language and culture, thereby providing him with exposures to deal with people from Europe to Asia, skills that he puts to good used for all his training. As been as Senior Training Officer with Star Cruises in 2013 to 2014, providing orientation trainings for new crews, communication skills, customer service skills, Supervisory Skill, SOP adherence and grooming. Several of the programs conducted comes with certificate Issuance. As Education is his passion, he taught hospitality, customer service and communication skills in colleges in Malaysia. He continuously wants to impart his knowledge and experience of the industry to many of the future hospitality students to ensure they learn from the best.
